Optimizing whole house mechanical ventilation is essential. In this class, the participants will learn about and be able to identify the code requirements for ventilation and describe the four primary methods for whole house mechanical ventilation. The course also compares ventilation options and identifies best practice based on climate zone. Participants will be able to recognize and avoid common design and installation mistakes, and better understand the requirements and guidance compliant with ASHRAE 62.2 Ventilation and Acceptable Indoor Air Quality in Low-Rise Residential Buildings.
