Whole House Mechanical Ventilation Options

Homes are being built tighter and tighter with each passing energy code cycle, which in turn necessitates mechanical ventilation be installed into the homes to decrease air born pollutants and moisture concerns. Optimizing whole house mechanical ventilation is essential. In this class, the participants will learn about and be able to identify the code requirements for ventilation and describe the four primary methods for whole house mechanical ventilation. The course also compares ventilation options and identifies best practice based on climate zone.
