Home insulation provides year-round comfort and savings and even if homeowners don’t talk about it, you’ll hear about it if there are any issues. Attendees of this course will be able to: • Demonstrate proper insulation methods, techniques, and best practices. • Identify different insulation materials and types and describe the benefits of using each. • Discuss future insulation options for new insulation strategies and products. • Identify a variety of insulation options for slab edge insulation, other foundation insulation configurations, cantilevered balconies, and rim joists, for examples. • Understand options for beyond-code minimum insulation strategies.
