RainTube
RainTube from Rain Technologies, Inc. provides a green-friendly solution to the problem of clogged gutters. The RainTube is able to serve as a water collection system while preventing snow and other debris from accumulating within the gutter. In fact, the RainTube is able to collect water at a rate of over 100 inches per hour.
Installation is quick and easy. No fasteners are used to attach the RainTube system and it can be installed in any roof / gutter combination. It can be completely uninstalled and reinstalled without any damage.
The RainTube is made of a porous material. It works by filling the gutter, which allows water to flow freely through the system. In most installations the RainTube ‘crowns’ just above the gutter. This creates an aerodynamic and slippery surface. Debris from the roof is held above the gutter, upon this surface, where they dry and are then carried away by even just a gentle breeze. Any remaining debris can be removed periodically with light brushing or blowing.
The RainTube is made up of 100% recycled HDPE. This material is extremely durable and comes with a lifetime warranty.
The RainTube is unaffected by UV exposure and any other environment elements including extreme, cold or heat and acid rain.
