"Flat" Wiring for Data, A/V, and Power

Adding or accessing wiring in homes can present a major challenge, as most homeowners that have tried to add surround sound will attest. DeCorp America's family of "Flat Wire" products offers a promising new solution for running surface mounted - yet concealed - wiring in new or existing homes. The DeCorp flat wire products, like its DeWire™ flat audio cable, utilize ultra-thin parallel conductors to create a wire that is paper-thin, paintable, and bendable.

The flat wire products can be directly installed and then concealed on wall and ceilings surfaces by applying the cable with a surface adhesive, covering with mesh tape, and then applying drywall compound over the mesh and adding the wall finish (e.g., paint, wallpaper). These products are also very well suited for routing under floor coverings like carpet. DeCorp currently offers flat wire products for audio and video, and is currently completing development on data and even electrical power flat wire products.
