Faster. Better. Safer. These Concept Home objectives are exemplified by Millard Lumber's Turnkey Building Solutions, which combines materials and labor into one package. This innovative solution, a result of a partnership by Millard Lumber and Weyerhaeuser, harmonizes scheduling, ordering materials and managing the jobsite. It was put into action as the Concept Home's panelized structure was quickly and efficiently set into place.

Prefabricated floor panels allowed the first floor of the Concept Home to be installed in just 1 hour. Yes - 60 minutes for an entire floor. Floor panels arrived on site, were hoisted into position via crane, and set and secured by framers.

Next came the pre-built walls. Wall sections, loaded on trucks according to their installation order, were set into place by the framers with precision and speed. By the end of the day, the Concept Home had its first floor and all first floor walls. The on-site framing waste would hardly fill a trash can, materials never touched the muddy and snowy ground on site, and components were precisely made in a factory with the benefit of controlled conditions and automated tools.
