DOE's Builders Challenge Program Reaches Major Milestone
The Builders Challenge Program has completed 10,000 high performance energy-efficient homes. These highly efficient homes represent an important advancement for the U.S. homebuilding industry, integrating construction with a whole-house energy-saving approach.The labeling process was administered by Newport Ventures and the Builders Challenge Version 2 is set to start in 2012.
